Tofino beach weddings. I have photographed hundreds of weddings and elopements on this coastline and it never gets old. It was a late August summer day as these two got married on Cox Bay beach. Just in front of Pacific Sands Beach Resort, there's a little cove that feels separate from the popular beach and it's like you have your own little nook of sand. I love it here. High tide, low tide, hard light, soft light, whatever it provides.

Alessia and Cole planned an intimate wedding at Cox Bay beach, one of my favourite Tofino locations. It has everything you would want to have in a photograph: big expansive beach, rocky textures and a forest trail that takes you to Sunset Point. The cove is close to the resorts, so you don't have to walk far and it's a beautiful beach walk at that. We did a first look on the trail and then walked further onto the point, right to the end where there are views of Cox Point, Rosie Bay and South Chesterman Beach. These two brought their closest family members to celebrate on the beach, then headed back to Pacific Sands for their reception. I might add that dinner was cooked by the best at Heartwood Kitchen.
